Language Arts

Objective:
Students learn basic communications concepts associated with product marketing and use creative writing skills to develop their own advertisements.

Method:
Individual or small group study.

Content:
Divide students into groups (if applicable). Give each student/group a copy of the Marketing Workbook. Click on the Marketing Workbook link to download your copy. Show examples of various print advertisements from magazines and newspapers and/or show a video featuring television ads. Ask students which ads were most memorable to them, and discuss why. Now students can complete the workbook, coming up with their own ideas for new, innovative product advertisements.
