The Hogue family farm has had JOLLY TIME Pop Corn grown on it since 1914! Jack Hogue, Sr began growing for JOLLY TIME in 1942 when he moved to the farm and served as the farm tenant until 1979. Jack Hogue Jr and wife Jane share “We’ve always been so proud to live on the farm where JOLLY TIME’S first kernels were grown!” Today, Jack Jr counts on son Tyler and grandson Lincoln to help him plant & harvest JOLLY TIME Pop Corn!

Dave’s father, Brian, and his Uncle Dick, started growing for us back in 1982 and today, Dave, son Ben and Cousin Mason continue the tradition in Pottawattamie county located in SW Iowa. Dave is proud to be a grower, a happy father and an Iowa State Cyclone! Dave shares, “My farming partner/cousin, Mason, and I have always enjoyed working with JOLLY TIME. It’s a good conversation piece when we talk to people outside of the agriculture world and it’s neat to raise a local product that is known worldwide.”

Pat’s grandfather, Michael, signed the first contract with Cloid Smith, JOLLY TIME’S founder, in the 1930’s. Ever since, the Green Family has been growing JOLLY TIME Pop Corn on their farm near Homer, NE. Located on the outskirts of Homer, along the bluff, their farm is truly picturesque. Pat shares “JOLLY TIME has always had a good product and the Company is an honest company, fair with its growers. JOLLY TIME has been cooperative in everything and anything. I guess you could say JOLLY TIME is a little like family.” Pat is looking forward to the day he’s able to pass the farm over to his daughter Candice, and grand-daughter Emily, making it 5 generations growing JOLLY TIME!

Today, nearly 40 years later, son’s Brandon, Nathan and Blake help Bruce. Their 5th generation family farm is located in Elgin, Nebraska. The Anderson’s take great pride in growing JOLLY TIME Pop Corn for popcorn fans across the world!

Jason and his family have been growing JOLLY TIME Pop Corn for as long as he can remember. He has memories of visiting the JOLLY TIME plant as a young boy with his father, Gordon, who started growing for JOLLY TIME more than 50 years ago.
Eric Chohon is a 3rd generation JOLLY TIME Pop Corn grower. He graduated with a degree in Agronomy from South Dakota State University in 2003. Eric shares, “Just like my father and grandfather, I take great pride in the land we have cared for and the quality of popcorn we have grown for JOLLY TIME over the years.”

Gene Chohon and son, Eric, of Chohon Farms have been growing JOLLY TIME Pop Corn for the past 13 years and 6 years respectively. Gene’s father, Don, started the tradition back in the mid 60’s. The Chohons are three generations of family growers working with JOLLY TIME.

Dan is a 2nd generation grower for JOLLY TIME. His father, Marvin, started growing popcorn in the late 1960’s. Even Dan’s brother grew for JOLLY TIME for a short time.
